It’s been over a year since we presented a list of the most popular cameras used by our readers here at dPS. It was a massive task compiling the last list but I thought it was time to do it again.

So… what digital camera is your ‘primary’ camera? If you have more than one – please limit your reply to the camera that you currently use the most as your main camera.

I’ll be taking the list and preparing some compilation posts on the different classes of cameras (in the coming weeks).

Please tell us both the brand and the model number in as much detail as you can to help us compile this list.

The Eyenimal digital pet camera hangs around the neck of your dog or cat and captures VGA resolution colour video at 29 frames a second for around 2 and a half hours per charge. It features 8GB storage and can transfer video to your Mac, Windows or Linux computer via the USB port. Priced at €99.10 plus shipping.

Can this camera be harmful to my pet? This video camera can by no means be harmful to your pet. Once in place, your pet will forget it’s there! However, cat owners are advised to take the usual precautions associated with the use of a collar. It is recommended that cats be fitted with a safety or breakaway-type collar: these safety collars are entirely made of plastic or nylon and consist of two parts connected by an expandable elasticated portion for your cat’s safety.
