Moving to North Carolina really paid off for me

My wife and I decided to move to North Carolina to be closer to our families there, but we had no idea the benefits that we would get from applying for a North Carolina VA Loan for our new house. As a veteran I knew about the VA loans programs and was planning on applying for one, but I had no idea that location made a difference. It turns out that with a North Carolina VA Loan I am exempt from a whole lot of the usual fees, like underwriting and document preparation fees.

We were able to get one hundred percent financing as well, which meant that it was feasible to put the money from selling our old house into the kids’ college funds. With the North Carolina VA Loan we were able to do this simply, without a whole lot of hassle and on such terms that the loan repayments are manageable, and the life of the loan is not going to outlive us. I’m really happy with our decision to relocate, because we have been able to be closer to our families, send the kids to college and get great financial services all in one. Thank you.

Veterans of the armed forces have defended and protected our country throughout their lives. As a way of thanking them for their services, the government has initiated various schemes for their benefit. The ‘VA mortgage loans’ is one of these schemes which allows veterans to purchase a home.

These loans are issued by money lenders who are qualified to do so and are under guarantee from the Veterans administration. va mortgage rates are very low as compared to the traditional home loans in the market.

If you are a veteran looking to opt for veterans home loans, then this is the right time. Veterans, through this facility are offered financing up to even 100% of the home value. American veterans or their surviving spouses are eligible for this loan. However, it is essential for the spouse not to have remarried.

As an initial funding fee, the veterans are charged 0 to 3.3 percent of the loan amount. This is also usually rolled on to the mortgage replacing the closing costs, which may run up to even three to five percent of the value of the loan disbursed.

Another advantage of this scheme is that veterans are exempted from paying the monthly PMI or Private Mortgage Insurance. So, make use of the opportunity and reach out for your veteran home loans right now.
